Custom made clothes

    In the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent custom made clothes are the norm.  Ready made are either too expensive for the average person, or not the styles or quality one is ready to pay hard earned cash for.

   What often happens in the towns and villages is that a lady learns to sew and becomes her village seamstress.  Most villages and towns are quite large, so most have more than one seamstress and more often than not, there are also male tailor shops as well.

   Tailoring here can be quite affordable to extremely expensive depending on the fabric, design and amount of labor involved

   Standards styles are Kurta, Straight Kamees, Umbrella and Panel designs.  Within the same categories are simple and fancy designs.  They may be long, three-quarters or short sleeved or even sleeveless.  Even the shalwars may vary from quite full to narrow 'pajama' styles.

   Fabrics of every color in the rainbow are available in every type of fabric from Gauze to Velvet.  If you like you may send us a small sample of the color or type of fabric for us to match up for you.  Or choose from our available list of fabrics and colors.

1.       Every Suit (Shalwar & Kamees or Dress & Bloomers) will have a free chemise included.

2.       Designs are up to you, measurements at your own risk. 

3.       Prices may vary according to design and size.  If sizes or designs are very large they may require extra fabric than the standard large size

4.       Lace and embroidery are extra.  Lace price $3 per meter.  Embroidery charges will be decided by email per individual order according to the design and type of embroidery.

5.       You may select the name and exact material you choose.

6.       Normal delivery by the postal service or an agreed upon carrier will be within 30 days from receipt of full payment.

7.       For express service (within 10 days) add 25% to the price.

8.       For ‘Crazy rush’ (within 5 days) add 50% to the price.

9.       Payment to be made in advance on confirmation of the order by, bank check, money transfer or cash to the person we tell you in your own country or by Barter (against goods you by and ship to us or services that may be rendered by you for us).
